2020 is shaping up to be a great year for sellers.

I often hear from clients wanting to know when the best time to sell their home is.
The reality is that any time can be the right time for a home that is properly prepared, priced and marketed. However, there are times when market conditions make it particularly beneficial for a seller or buyer to jump into the housing market.
Right now across Canada, we are at the lowest number of homes for sale in 12 years-- that means we are shifting into a seller's market where the seller may have the advantage.
What does that mean for you individually? As a buyer, it means it could be the time for you to act, as home prices are not likely to drop and are actually likely to rise.
As a seller, odds are in your favour for a sale at a good price. This may not mean the crazy over-value prices of a few years ago, but could mean a healthy profit if you bought before the last peak in 2017.
